MUNCIE, Ind. - The Miami University women's soccer team (8-8-3; 5-6-0 MAC) put up a strong fight in the cold conditions of their regular-season finale, but finished with a 2-0 loss against Ball State University (6-9-2; 4-5-2 MAC) at Briner Sports Complex on Thursday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In an intense first half, Miami outshot Ball State eight to five but neither team could get the edge. The score at half was nil-nil.
- At 71:36, Ball State scored to take the lead 1-0.
- Eight minutes later, Ball State found the net again to extend their advantage 2-0 over the RedHawks.
- As the weather continued to worsen, the RedHawks finished the game with 10 shots (six on-goal) in a 2-0 loss versus Ball State.

- Izzie Vaccari finished the game with four saves in Thursday's matchup.
