The Miami University men's swimming and diving team claimed their second straight victory of the season with their win at Ball State Thursday, Oct. 28. The RedHawks dominated in key events and ended with a final score of 185, while Ball State trailed behind with 113.

How it Happened:
- RedHawk swimmers finished first in nine of 12 individual swimming events, with a Miami swimmer placing second in the remaining three.
- Miami started and finished the meet with top placements in the two relay events. In the 200 medley relay, the A relay team of Owen Blazer, Adrian Dulay, Henju Duvenhage and Nic Wamsley won with a time of 1:33.17, with the B relay team placing third at 1:35.44. The 400 freestyle relay saw the A relay team of Pedro Gueiros, Jack Herczeg, Wamsley and Ben Chatwin come out on top with a time of 3:05.53, while the B relay team came just behind in second with 3:09.73.
- Herczeg and Yonatan Rosin earned first place finishes in all of their individual events. Herczeg won the 200 freestyle (1:44.26) and the 100 freestyle (47.01) while Rosin took the 1000 freestyle (9:51.70) and the 500 freestyle (4:48.76).
- Blazer and Duvenhage did the same in their respective individual events, with Blazer taking the top spot in the 100 backstroke (51.11) and the 200 backstroke (1:55.89) and Duvenhage coming out on top in the 200 butterfly (1:52.74) and the 200 individual medley (1:54.10).
- The remaining first place finish for the RedHawks was picked up by Dulay in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:06.00). Dulay also placed second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 57.84.

The Miami women's swimming and diving team will hit the road once again to take on Akron on Saturday, Oct. 30. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
