OXFORD, Ohio -Â In an electrifying match, the Miami University women's soccer team (8-7-3; 5-5-0 MAC) posted a 2-1 win against Western Michigan University (5-12-0; 3-7-0 MAC)Â at Bobby Kramig Field on Sunday afternoon.

The RedHawks final regular season game will be on the road at Ball State University at 3Â p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28.

- In the first half, Miami got the early advantage, as Jordan King scored with an assist by Kristina DeMarco.
- At 53:38, the Broncos scored to bring it back to a 1-1 tie.
- Miami's DeMarco answered back at 61:05 to take a 2-1 lead.
- The RedHawks held down Western Michigan in the second half to secure the win, 2-1. Â Â
- Emily Boutin had four saves in the win for the RedHawks.
- King earned her first career goal in Sunday's matchup.
