BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Miami University women's soccer team (7-4-3; 4-2-0 MAC) lost against Bowling Green State University (5-5-3; 4-1-1 MAC) at Cochrane Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The RedHawks will return home to play Kent State at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- With a quiet first half, Miami pitched seven shots with five on-goal versus Bowling Green. The score was 0-0 at half.
- Early in the second half, Bowling Green scored; turning it into a 1-0 lead.
- Bowling Green scored at 70:20, extending a 2-0 lead against Miami.
- At 71:06, Kylee Beinecke answered right back, putting the RedHawks on the board, 2-1.
- BGSU scored at the end of the match to finalize the score 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.
- Izzie Vaccari had five saves in the RedHawks win.
The RedHawks will return home to play Kent State at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14.
