OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami University women's basketball team dropped an 87-52 decision on Saturday afternoon to Bowling Green. Katie Davidson led the way with 19 points, while Peyton Scott added 17 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.

- Bowling Green outscored Miami 22-4 in the first quarter. The Falcons were 4-for-8 from behind the arc, while Miami was just 2-of-13 from the floor.
- In the second quarter, the shooting woes continued for the RedHawks as the team shot 5-of-17 from the field and 0-of-5 from beyond the arc, entering the half down 46-14.Â
- BGSU outscored Miami 41-38 in the second half to improve to 11-3 overall and 7-2 in MAC play. Miami is now 1-12 overall and 0-9 in conference play.

- Amani Freeman made her first career start on Saturday.
