OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami University women's basketball team dropped an 87-52 decision on Saturday afternoon to Bowling Green. Katie Davidson led the way with 19 points, while Peyton Scott added 17 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.

How It Happened:

Bowling Green outscored Miami 22-4 in the first quarter. The Falcons were 4-for-8 from behind the arc, while Miami was just 2-of-13 from the floor.
In the second quarter, the shooting woes continued for the RedHawks as the team shot 5-of-17 from the field and 0-of-5 from beyond the arc, entering the half down 46-14.
BGSU outscored Miami 41-38 in the second half to improve to 11-3 overall and 7-2 in MAC play. Miami is now 1-12 overall and 0-9 in conference play.

Game Notes:

Amani Freeman made her first career start on Saturday.
Miami has now used seven different starting lineups in 13 contests.
Peyton Scott finished the game with 17 points and has scored in double figures in every game this year.
