
Volleyball Earns AVCA Team Academic Award for Ninth Straight Year

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its team academic awards on Monday. College and high school teams earn the award for achieving a team GPA of better than 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale) for the entire 2019-20 school year. The Miami University volleyball team earned the honor for the ninth straight year.
The RedHawks had a team GPA of 3.53 for the 2019-20 school year, to qualify. Success followed Miami on the court as well last season as it went 17-12 overall and won its fourth straight Mid-American Conference regular season title with a 12-4 record.
