
Golf in 15th at Colleton River Collegiate

BLUFFTON, S.C. – After two rounds of the Colleton River Collegiate, Miami is in 15th place with a score of 608. The team shot rounds of 299 and 309. Georgia Southern leads the team standings at 10-under par while a few teams were unable to finish the second round due to darkness.
Sophomore Jack Ebner is competing as an individual but had the best two round score of any Miami golfer today with a three-over par 147 and is currently in 31st. In round one, Ebner shot a four-over par 76 and followed up with a one-under par round of 71. Alex Schaake of Iowa is the top individual at five-under par.
Junior Charlie Nikitas is tied for 53rd at seven-over par following rounds of 76 and 75. Redshirt sophomore Jack Herceg and freshman Danny Fisher are both tied for 61st at eight-over par. Herceg shot two rounds of 76 while Fisher shot an even par round of 72 and a round of 80.
Senior Jack Katarincic shot rounds of a four-over par 76 and a six-over par 78 to finish the day tied for 70th at 10-over par. Junior Jack Mortell is tied for 75th at 11-over par after shooting rounds of 75 and 80.
