11/20/2020 4:00:00 PM | General, Men's Basketball
With the men's basketball season set to begin in less than a week, Miami Athletics has announced the "Miami Athletics Ticket Assurance Program." All men's basketball season ticket holders will be afforded the opportunity to choose between the following options regarding their 2020-21 season ticket(s) and donations:
1. Transfer your season ticket(s), parking, PSL's and donations (if applicable) to the 2021-22 season.
2. Commit your 2020-21 season ticket(s), parking, PSL's and donations to any Miami Athletic Fund account to support Miami student-athletes through the COVID-19-crisis.*
3. Receive a full refund (less handling fees) for the 2020-21 season.
The Miami Athletics staff spent much of Wednesday, Nov. 18 reaching out to all season ticket holders of Miami men's basketball to discuss the new program and their options. Miami Athletics also encourages each season ticket holder to contact the Athletic Ticket Office at RedHawktix@miamioh.edu or (513) 529-4295, if you have not connected with a Miami Athletics staff member to date to discuss your options.
If Miami Athletics is unable to connect with you by November 25, we will automatically enroll you into option 1. As we continue to work remotely, we will work as efficiently as possible to connect with each of you.
* Gifts to Miami Athletics may be tax-deductible, however the deductible amount may be reduced by the value of any benefits not otherwise waived. Please consult with your tax advisor regarding deductibility. Donors who contribute through Qualified Charitable Distributions or Donor Advised Funds must waive all benefits in writing. Gifts-in-kind have separate tax implications. Please contact a member of the Miami Athletic Fund staff or Miami's Office of Gift Processing if you have any questions.
