COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) has partnered with Midco Sports Network to produce and broadcast all 40 games in the NCHC Pod, live from the University of Nebraska Omaha's Baxter Arena. All Pod broadcasts from Dec. 1-20 will be available on NCHC.tv to active subscribers, as well as on linear television on MidcoSN.
"We are thrilled to partner with Midco Sports Network to provide fans the opportunity to watch all NCHC games in the Pod from the comfort of home or anywhere in the world on NCHC.tv. With MidcoSN producing all 40 games, fans will be able to enjoy a high-quality broadcast for each game in the Pod on their television or mobile devices," NCHC Commissioner Josh Fenton said. "The array of broadcasters announcing the games are all names NCHC fans are familiar with and will provide great passion and insight during the 20 days. We can't wait to drop the puck!"
Along with announcing plans for TV and streaming production in the Pod, the NCHC revealed start times for all games in the Pod. Two games will take place on most weekdays Tuesday through Friday, with game times at 3:35 p.m. and 7:35 p.m. CT, while weekends will consist of triple-headers with games starting at 12:05 p.m., 4:05 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. CT on Saturdays and Sundays. The four-hour game windows allow ample time for games to be completed, the venue and ice to properly be cleaned and cut, and movement within the building be completed in a safe manner. All teams have at least 24 hours between start times when playing back-to-back games on the weekend.
Miami's start times are adjusted and posted on the online schedule, which can be seen at MiamiRedHawks.com. The start times for the games during the regular travel portion of the schedule will be announced at a later date.
Headlining MidcoSN®'s live coverage are two of the most celebrated broadcasters working in college hockey today: Ben Holden and Dave Starman. The pair have served as CBS Sports Network's lead college hockey announcing team since 2013 and are the voices of CBS Sports Network's NCHC Game of the Week and the NCHC Frozen Faceoff.
Alongside Holden and Starman, MidcoSN®'s telecasts from Omaha will feature Alex Heinert and Jake Brandt, the lead announcing team for the network's live coverage of University of North Dakota Hockey since 2016. Veteran play-by-play man Donny Baarns and former University of Nebraska Omaha Hockey captain David Brisson will also be featured on MidcoSN®'s broadcasts inside the NCHC Pod.
All 40 games in the Pod, including the ten Miami games, can be seen on NCHC.tv, including on the NCHC.tv mobile apps, Roku, AppleTV and Amazon FireTV. For fans without an active subscription, several pass options are available.

Other locally and regionally televised games from the Pod will be released by each member school. The NCHC's complete TV schedule, including games on CBS Sports Network, will be announced at a later date.
The NCHC has affirmed games will be played in the Pod without fans, making the high-quality broadcasts on NCHC.tv or local TV across various NCHC institutional markets the lone place to see the games. The NCHC Board of Directors recently voted to not allow any fans to view Pod games in-person through a purchased ticket or team pass list. Although NCHC fans are a significant part of the in-game experience, with continued expansion of COVID-19 across many communities, the conference's top priority remains attempting to create a safe environment for participating teams, staff, and general community.
