Basketball Programs Assemble COVID Care Packages Saturday

Earlier this week, the Miami University men's and women's basketball programs got their first official practices of the season under their belts. On Saturday, members from each basketball program stepped away from the court to assist with an initiative for fellow students under quarantine and in isolation due to COVID-19. They joined Miami parent and student volunteers throughout the day to assemble care packages for Miami students.
Members of Miami parent groups had an assortment of items shipped to campus for inclusion in the care packages and also sent some hand-written notes of well wishes. Over 1,000 care packages were assembled for distribution to lift the spirits of those students in quarantine and isolation.
