Meet The Team – Dalonte Brown

Over the next several weeks, MiamiRedHawks.com will be spending time with each member of the Miami University men's basketball team, getting up close and personal with each RedHawk. On today's episode, "Voice of the RedHawks" Steve Baker sits down with senior forward James Beck and head coach Jack Owens to discuss Brown's important role as a leader during his final Miami campaign.
Brown appeared in 29 games last season, making 24 starts. He was the RedHawks' second-leading scorer at 9.5 points per game, and second-leading rebounder at 5.2 caroms per contest. Brown had four double-doubles during the season, including a 20-point, 11-rebound effort at Bowling Green on Jan. 11.
Brown is majoring in family science.
