Miami Women Travel to Bowling Green Saturday

The RedHawks and Falcons will compete in a conference dual meet on Saturday at 1 p.m.

OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University women's swimming and diving team travels to Bowling Green for a conference dual meet on Saturday at 1 p.m. Live stats will be available on Meet Mobile.

The Miami women began 2020 with a dual-meet win at Cleveland State last Tuesday. The RedHawk women won 14 of 16 events en route to a dominating 223-77 win.

Senior Izzy Herb was named Miami Female Athlete of the Week as she swept the backstroke competition and swam a leg on both of the winning relays. Nine different RedHawks earned an event win with Herb and Camila Lins de Mello leading the squad with four event wins apiece. Kayleigh Cannon and Hannah Fuchs each won three events.

Bowling Green most recently competed in the FIU Relay Invite after the Falcons and RedHawks met in the Miami Invitational in December. BG finished second among eight teams at the FIU Relay Invite, with Fordham winning the event by only three points. Bowling Green is scheduled to host Davenport on Friday at 5 p.m. before Miami comes to town.
