Oxford, Ohio – Following back-to-back 20 win seasons, the Miami University Athletics Department has announced that it will begin a search for a new head women's basketball coach.
Over the past two years, Miami has compiled a 44-20 overall record and is 25-11 in Mid-American Conference play. Both seasons Miami advanced to the semi-finals of the conference tournament and have hosted games in the WNIT each of the past two seasons. Miami has also been successful off the court. This past season eight RedHawks were named Academic All-MAC.
"I'm excited about the foundation we have built with our women's basketball program over the past two seasons," said Director of Athletics David Sayler. "The success our outstanding student-athletes have shown on and off the court makes this a very attractive job."
A national search will begin immediately.
