Dickerson, Kluesner and McCoy Earn All-MAC Honors

Lauren Dickerson, Savannah Kluesner and Kendall McCoy all earn post-season awards, announced by the Mid-American Conference on Tuesday.
CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its women's basketball All-Conference teams on Tuesday. Junior guard Lauren Dickerson was named All-MAC First Team while junior forward Savannah Kluesner was named All-MAC Second Team and senior guard/forward Kendall McCoy was named All-MAC Honorable Mention.
Dickerson averaged 16.2 points per game this season for a total of 471 points. She leads the team in assists, points, steals (64), three-pointers (63) and field-goals made. Dickerson averages 34.2 minutes per game, the highest on the team. Her 151 assists rank ninth all-time in a single season as she averages 5.2 per game. Dickerson ranks 10th in field-goals made this season (177), third in field-goals attempted (492) and fourth in three-pointers attempted (223). She has ascended the ranks in the record book, ranking fourth all-time in points (1,617), fourth in assists (441), fifth in field-goals made (586), third in field-goals attempted (1,508), fourth in three-pointers made (225), third in three-pointers attempted (669) and third in 20-point games (37).
Kluesner increased her on-court production, averaging 13.8 points per game this season for a total of 401 points. She passed 500 career rebounds this season, totaling 237 rebounds for 8.2 rebounds per game to lead the RedHawks on the boards. Kluesner led the starters in field-goal percentage, shooting just above 50 percent from the floor this season. She has tallied eight double-doubles this season after earning just three in the previous two years combined. Kluesner ranks eighth on the all-time leaders list with 12 career double-doubles. She had five 20-point games this season.
McCoy averaged 11.5 points per game this season, scoring 321 points total. She continued to lead Miami in free-throw percentage as she sits at second in program history, shooting 84.1 percent over her career. McCoy is one of only seven players in Miami history to score at least 1,000 career points and grab at least 600 rebounds. She is ninth in program history with 648 rebounds. McCoy is also tied for 10th in the record book with nine career double-doubles. She is second on the team in assists (69), assists per game (2.5), three-pointers (48) and three-point percentage (.366). McCoy ranks 10th in program history with 149 three-pointers made in her career.
Miami is the No. 3 seed in the MAC Tournament, earning the first-round bye and a trip straight to Cleveland. The RedHawks will face No. 6 Toledo on Wednesday at approximately 7:30 p.m., or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the previous game. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and Miami College Sports Live.
