Miami Women Host Buffalo in MAC Dual

The RedHawks and Bulls compete on Saturday at 11 a.m. inside the Nixon Aquatic Center.
OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University women's swimming and diving team hosts Buffalo on Saturday at 11 a.m. inside the Nixon Aquatic Center for a MAC dual meet.
Last weekend, the Miami women won 10 events at Eastern Michigan and eventually dropped the meet by four points. Camila Lins de Mello led the squad with three individual event wins (100 free, 200 free, 200 IM) while Kayleigh Cannon swept the fly events and Molly Zilch, Hannah Fuchs, Sam Sutton and Caroline Ehlers each won an event. The RedHawks also won the 400 free relay.
Buffalo opened the season on Saturday, Oct. 19 with the quad meet against Bowling Green, Cornell and Eastern Michigan, racking up 14 event wins. Last weekend, the Bulls beat Ball State by a 197-103 margin, winning 13 events. Last season, Buffalo finished third at the MAC Championships with 502 points, just 16 points ahead of the RedHawks.
