Clement Signs on With The Brotherhood

The Detroit, Mich., defenseman is +12 with the USHL’s Des Moines Buccaneers.

OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University hockey team landed its second signing for the 2019-20 season on Wednesday.

Joining The Brotherhood for next season is defenseman Jack Clement, a native of Detroit, Mich. Clement is skating for the USHL's Des Moines Buccaneers, where he has seven points (1g, 6a) and a +12 rating in 34 games. He spent the previous season with the Shreveport Mudbugs of the NAHL, where he earned a First-Team All-Rookie Team honors after recording 32 points (11g, 21a) and going +24 in 50 games. He also added three assists in 13 playoff games to help the Mudbugs win the Robertson Cup.

Prior to playing junior hockey, Clement played three seasons at Brother Rice High School, where he finished his career in 2016-17 with 48 points (18g, 30a) in 29 games in helping his squad capture a state title. He spent his youth hockey years with the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies.

Clement joins Brett Murray as another signed player for next season during the lengthened signing period.
