June 20, 2017 OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University has brought back one of its own to the Athletic Ticket Office as Kelsey Arnold has been named the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations.
Arnold, a 2016 Miami graduate, spent three years as an undergraduate student manager in the ticket office. In this role, she supervised student workers for daily operations and game day events, prepared ticket inquiries for upcoming events and communicated with customers while balancing cash inventory for game day events.
"I am very excited to bring back someone of Kelsey's caliber to the ticket office," Director of Ticketing Alex Weikel said. "As one of the best student workers I have ever had the privilege to mentor, Kelsey brings not only experience working in a ticket office, but also experience as a Miami alum to our office."
Upon graduating from Miami, Arnold spent a year as an audit associate at KPMG. While an undergraduate, she also was an independent contractor for RevLocal Inc. and served internships with Edison Welding Institute and Socius. A member of Beta Alpha Psi and Sigma Delta Pi at Miami, Arnold served as the former chapter's Vice President of Community Service and the latter's Treasurer.
"It is great to be back at Miami where I discovered my passion in working in college athletics," Arnold said. "This is an exciting time for Miami Athletics and I am looking forward to providing our fans a memorable experience at our events."
Arnold graduated from Miami's Farmer School of Business in 2016, earning a Bachelor of Sciences degree in business and accountancy.
