Golf in 11th After Two Rounds at Boilermaker Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃÆ'¢'¬" The Miami University golf team is in 11th place after two rounds of the Boilermaker Invitational on Saturday. Under extremely windy conditions, the RedHawks shot a team score of 300 in the morning and 310 in the afternoon to finish at 34-over par. Kent State leads the tournament at five-over par.
After a pair of three-over par 75s, junior Patrick Flavin is Miami's highest ranked individual at six-over par. He is tied for 25th place. Redshirt sophomore Brian Ohr had the best round of the day with a one-under par 71 in the morning, but shot an 83 in the afternoon and is tied for 50th at 10-over par.
Senior Greg Conrad had two rounds of 77 on Saturday and is tied with Ohr for 50th at 10-over par. Freshman Cam Solomon is tied for 71st at 14-over par, while redshirt freshman JD Fletcher is 77th at 16-over par.
The Boilermaker Invitational concludes with the final round on Sunday. A shotgun start begins at 8:45 a.m.
