RedHawks Finish in Seventh Place at Colleton River Collegiate

BLUFFTON, S.C. -- The Miami University golf team posted a 13-over par round of 301 in the final round of the Colleton River Collegiate on Tuesday. The RedHawks finished the event in seventh place at 46-over par. Host Michigan State won the tournament at 20-over par.
Redshirt- sophomore Brian Ohr led the RedHawks, shooting a two-over par round of 74 on the final round to finish eight-over par on the tournament and place 10th. Junior Patrick Flavin closely followed, shooting a two-over par round of 74 in final round to finish the tournament at nine-over par and tied for 11th place.
Senior Greg Conrad helped the RedHawks by shooting his best in the final round with an even par score of 72 to finish 12-over par and tie for 26th place. Freshman Callahan Elzey finished at 24-over par and tied for 61st place. In the final round Elzey shot a nine-over par round of 81. Freshman Cam Solomon finished at 26-over par in 67th place. Solomon shot a 16-over par round of 88 in the third round.
Of the individuals, freshman Joshua Cushing shot a five-over par round of 77 in the final round to finish the tournament at 17-over par and tied for 41st place. Redshirt freshman JD Fletcher ended the tournament in 68th place. Fletcher shot a nine-over par round of 81 in the final round to finish at 29-over par.
The Red and White will be back in action on Friday, March 31 in Franklin Tennessee at the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate.
