Junior Team Opens Midwestern Championships With Strong Performance

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Miami University junior synchronized skating team opened up the Midwestern Championships on Friday evening by skating their short program. With a strong performance, the team netted a total segment score of 43.74.
The junior team’s mark Friday night was a season-best for the Red & White. Miami did not go up against any opponents.
Tomorrow’s slate features another performance from the junior team around 8:15 p.m. ET, this time their free skate. A few hours prior to that, the collegiate team will skate their long program, going up against teams from the University of Illinois, Michigan State, Western Michigan, University of Michigan, Adrian College and Team North Dakota.
