Delk Joins Athletic Ticket Office

OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University Athletic Ticket Office has hired Noah Delk as the new Assistant Director of Ticket Operations.
Delk, who graduated from North Carolina State in 2014, spent the past year working in the ticket office at the University of Michigan. While in Ann Arbor, he supervised the ticketing operations at various sporting events, collected and processed payments of donations, contributed to mass mailings to season ticket holders. He also worked extensively with ticket managers to organize the ticket operations for the 2016 Michigan lacrosse season. He is experienced with using the Spectra ticketing software that the Miami Athletic Ticket Office recently incorporated.
"We are really excited to have Noah on board with us," Director of Ticket Operations Alex Weikel said. "His energy, knowledge and outstanding customer service skills will make an immediate impact with our fans and season ticket holders."
Prior to his time at Michigan, Delk was a ticket fulfillment specialist for the Atlanta Braves during the 2015 season. He served as a ticket seller and will call "tracer" on game days, filled and distributed theme park, group and accessible seating tickets and, while also providing troubleshooting for game-day staff.
"I am very excited for my new role with the Miami University Athletic Department," Delk said. "Ticketing is an area of sports that I am very passionate about and I see great things taking place right now in Oxford. I aim to make the ticketing and game day experiences more enjoyable and efficient for all fans of Miami athletics."
During his undergraduate time at NC State, Delk volunteered in a variety of capacities during special events, which included the NCAA Basketball Tournament, the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Soccer Tournament, the ACC Baseball Tournament and several others.
Delk earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from NC State in 2014.
