Jimson-Miller Makes NCAA Prelim Debut Friday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Alexus Jimson-Miller made her postseason debut and represented the Miami track and field program on day two of the NCAA East Region Preliminary meet on Friday.
Jimson-Miller ran in the final heat of the 100m hurdles, which began the day's running events. The Mid-American Conference runner-up in the event, Jimson-Miller placed 39th with a time of 13.80.
One more day remains in this weekend's national qualifying opportunity and four RedHawks will try to punch their tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Miami's representation begins with the men's high jump at 5:30 p.m.
