OXFORD, Ohio - Two-thirds of the entire population of Miami student-athletes finished the spring semester with a 3.0 grade-point average or higher to help the entire group compile a 3.21 GPA in the spring.
Miami student-athletes have put up at least a 3.12 GPA in every semester since the 2011 spring semester. Additionally, 189 of MU's 490 student-athletes (nearly 40 percent) posted a 3.5 GPA or higher.
"Words can't fully express how proud I am of the continuing achievement of our student-athletes on the field and in the classroom," Director of Athletics David Sayler said. "Our student-athletes, academic staff and faculty have fully embraced what it means to graduate champions and this semester's performance is indicative of that."
Beyond that, the RedHawks had 38 student-athletes put up a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring (listed below).
