Sports Medicine to Hold Golf Outing June 3

OXFORD, Ohio--The Miami University Sports Medicine Department will hold its eighth annual golf outing to raise funds for the Mr. Gale Newton Internship Fund on Friday, June 3 at Hueston Woods Golf Course.
The event format is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 2 p.m. Cost is $120 per person or $410 for a foursome. There is also a young alumni rate (2010-2015) of $80. The cost includes range balls, green fees and a cart for 18 holes of golf, lunch prior to tee time, on-course beverages at the pavilion, BBQ-style dinner and a t-shirt. Golfers are asked to be at the golf course by 1 p.m. on the day of the outing.
Any individual or business also may sponsor a hole for $100.
A portion of the cost to golf is a $60 donation towards the Mr. Gale Newton Internship Fund to honor his 30 years of service to Miami University as Head Athletic Trainer.
To register for the outing or sponsor a hole, fill out the attached form and return with a check made payable to Miami University Sports Medicine (memo-Gale Newton Internship Fund) by May 28 to:
