BLUFFTON, S.C. ââ'¬" The Miami University golf team posted an 18-over par round of 306 in the final round of the Colleton River Collegiate on Tuesday. The RedHawks finished the event in seventh place at 51-over par. College of Charleston won the tournament at 27-over par.
Sophomore Patrick Flavin led the RedHawks, shooting a two-over par round of 74 on the final round to finish four-over on the tournament and tied for fourth place. He was only three shots behind the winner, Thomas Perrot of Memphis.
Senior Bud Radis shot a seven-over par round of 79 on his final round to finish 14-over on the tournament and tied for 31st place. Junior Greg Conrad tied for 41st place after shooting a three-over par round of 75 on Tuesday to finish 16-over par. Senior Jack Sparling ended his day with a six-over par round of 78 to finish 17-over and tied for 44th place. Redshirt freshman Brian Ohr shot a nine-over par round of 81 on the final day of competition to end 31-over par and tied for 79th place.
Of the individuals, senior Daniel Schwarz ended his play with a nine-over par round of 81 to end 22-over and tied for 59th place. Senior Bailey Truesdell shot a 10-over round of 82 to end 33-over and tied for 84th place.
The Red and White will be back in action on Monday, March 21 in San Antonio Texas at the Lone Star Invitational.
