RedHawks Tied for Seventh at Colleton River

BLUFFTON, S.C. ââ'¬" The Miami University golf team is currently tied for seventh place after two rounds of the Colleton River Collegiate on Monday. The RedHawks shot rounds of 299 and 310 for a score of 33-over par. Miami is only nine shots out of third place. College of Charleston leads the event at 13-over par.
Sophomore Patrick Flavin had the best individual performance on the day for the 'Hawks. He shot a round of even par 72 in the morning and two-over par 74 in the afternoon to sit at two-over par for the tournament and tied for fourth. He is only three shots behind the leader Thomas Perrot of Memphis. Senior Bud Radis tied Flavin for best round of the day with a 72 in the morning. He shot a 79 in the afternoon and is tied for 22nd at seven-over par.
Senior Jack Sparling is tied for 47th overall at 11-over par after rounds of 76 and 79. Junior Greg Conrad is right behind him in a tie for 52nd at 13-over par after rounds of 79 and 78. Redshirt freshman Brian Ohr had rounds of 85 and 81 and is tied for 80th at 22-over par.
Seniors Daniel Schwarz and Bailey Truesdell are competing as individuals at Colleton River. Schwarz shot rounds of 77 and 80 and is tied for 52nd at 13-over par. Truesdell had rounds of 87 and 80 and is tied for 84th at 23-over par.
