Teddy Bear Toss a Hit for Local Kids

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami hockey’s first foray into a beloved college hockey staple made an impact with local children.
The Miami Department of Intercollegiate Athletics collected 581 stuffed animals that were thrown onto the ice during the second intermission of its Feb. 26 hockey game against Colorado College. Those stuffed animals, among other toys that got donated, will go to local children in need.
