Miami Heroes Week - Introducing Morgan Rice

Miami Athletics will honor active military, veterans, first responders and dispatchers (Heroes) during a series of games over a cross-section of sports from November 8-12. Several student-athletes and staff, both past and present have either served in the military or worked as first responders. Today we want to introduce you to junior Morgan Rice, a member of the track and field program. Rice is currently an EMT.
All home games from Nov. 8-12 will have a Heroes theme. In addition to several pre-game and in-game highlights, Heroes and their families will receive special ticket prices for the following events, and Heroes will have FREE admission to men's basketball! Men's Basketball - Friday, November 11 vs. Muskingum at 1 p.m. (Veterans Day) - Heroes Get Free Admission! Family - $8
Volleyball - Friday, November 11 vs. Akron at 7 p.m. (Veterans Day) - $3;
Saturday, November 12 vs. Buffalo at 5 p.m. - $3
Hockey - Friday, November 11 vs. Omaha at 7:35 p.m. (Veterans Day) - $18*;
Saturday, November 12 vs. Omaha at 7:05 p.m. - $18*
