- With the game-winning goal Friday night, Jack Roslovic snapped a six-game scoreless streak. He leads the team with 19 points (10g, 9a).
- Anthony Louis (goal) and Josh Melnick (assist) both recorded a point, moving both of their point streaks to five games. Louis now has 18 points (5g, 13a) on the season, while Melnick climbs to 16 points (6g, 10a).
- With two more points Friday (1g, 1a), Kevin Morris now has 6 points in his last three games, including two-straight multi-point affairs. The big winger came into his senior season with three career multi-point games, but has now doubled that total with three more through 24 games this season.
- Defenseman Scott Dornbrock chipped in two points for the Red & White Friday evening, earning himself his first career multi-point effort.
- Matthew Caito picked up his tenth point of the season after assisting on Morris' empty-netter. Miami blue liners contributed a total of four points Friday, upping their season total to 36 points (11g, 25a).
- Friday night's victory marked the first four-game winning streak since March 8-21, 2014, a stretch that saw Miami make a run to the NCHC Tournament final.
- The RedHawks blocked a season-high 24 shots while allowing just 21 shots on goal. It marks the fifth time this season that Miami has blocked 20 or more shots in a game. The previous high was 22, set back on Oct. 10 against Providence.
- After taking a 2-1 lead in the second period, the Red & White have now held an advantage at some point in 19 of the 24 games they have played.
- Senior netminder Jay Williams continues his recent run of success after stopping 20-of-21 Denver shots Friday night. He has saved 161 of the last 170 shots he's faced, good enough for a .947 save percentage during that stretch.
