Miami vs. Bowling Green Postgame Notes

- Alex Gacek collected his fourth goal of the season 14:45 into the second period Saturday night. He also assisted on the game-winner. The senior winger now has ten points (4g, 6a) on the year, just four short of his career-high.

- Anthony Louis posted his second game-winning goal of the season when he scored with just two seconds left in Saturday night's game. Overall, it was his fourth tally of the season. The junior now has 14 points (4g, 10a) this year.

- Jay Williams continues to impress in the crease for the RedHawks. The senior netminder turned aside 28 Falcon shots to improve to 2-0-1 over his last three starts.

- After getting outshot 29-27 on the night, the 2-1 victory marks the first time this season Miami has won a game despite being outnumbered in the shot column.

- Despite only getting two chances down a man, the penalty kill remains a strongpoint for the Red & White. They have surrendered just four goals on the man advantage in 71 opponent tries.

- The RedHawks combined to block 17 shots, the 19th time in 21 games that they have blocked 10 or more shots in a single contest.
