RedHawks' Offense Stalls in 6-0 Setback

OXFORD, Ohio – The RedHawks (6-25, 4-8 MAC) fell to Buffalo, 6-0 Sunday. Miami mustered just three hits in the defeat.
Buffalo started off the scoring in the top of the second. A one-run single allowed the Bulls to take a 1-0 lead. They tacked on two more runs in the top of the fifth. Two one-run singles allowed UB to plate the two runs. One run scored in the top of the seventh on a single. The Bulls got their final to runs in the top of the eighth on an error and a wild pitch.
The RedHawks return to action Tuesday as they take on Wright State in the opening game of the Joe Nuxhall Classic, an annual event to showcase southwest Ohio collegiate baseball. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. A preview of the tournament will be on MURedHawks.com tomorrow.
