Ransdell Named Assistant A.D.

Senior Director of Development/Associate Athletic Director Coleman Barnes has announced that Patrick Ransdell has been named Associate Director of Development / Assistant Athletic Director. Ransdell has served as the Assistant Director of Development with the RedHawks since 2013, after serving in athletics leadership roles at UNC Wilmington and Coastal Carolina.
“Patrick continues to cultivate relationships and generate philanthropic support for the ultimate benefit of Miami student-athletes, and he will continue to be an integral part our team’s future fundraising success,” said Barnes.
“I would like to thank the search committee for the opportunity to continue to serve Miami in this role,” said Ransdell. “I am grateful to assist this department and this exceptional staff in raising funds to benefit our student-athletes. With so many great things on the horizon under the leadership of David Sayler, it's a great time to be part of Miami Athletics.”
Ransdell earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University, where he was a four-year student-athlete on the baseball team. He completed his master’s degree and MBA from Ohio University.
