Miami University Athletics Director David Sayler has announced that Lisa Miller has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance. Miller, who was previously the Director of Compliance at Miami, began her career for the RedHawks back in April, 2013.
“Miami’s compliance program is very much a team effort,” said Miller. “I am extremely fortunate to work with great student-athletes, coaches and colleagues on a daily basis. I’m grateful to David Sayler for his continued support and look forward to serving our student-athletes and coaches in the future.”
Prior to her arrival she spent one season as the Compliance Intern at Georgetown (2012-13) and was the Assistant Tennis Professional/Program Administrator at Columbia (Md.) Country Club (2010-12).
"Lisa has proven herself to be an extremely valuable member of this athletic program,” said Sayler. “Her work ethic, knowledge base and attention to detail in all matters related to NCAA Compliance continues to be outstanding. I know I speak on behalf of the entire Miami athletic program when I say that this promotion is well earned."
A native of Airlie Beach, Queensland, Australia, Miller was a four-year tennis standout at the University of Maryland, completing her undergraduate degree in communication and public relations in 2010. She went on to complete her master’s in education from the University of Washington in 2013.
