Football
Last Week: The Miami football team fell 24-21 last Tuesday to Ohio in the season finale. In the loss senior Quinten Rollins had two interceptions (Recap). This Week: Miami finished the season 2-10 on the year. Their season has come to an end.
Men's Basketball
Last Week: Miami had a busy week but lost lost a trio of contests to round out its participation in the Cancun Challenge. The RedHawks dropped a 55-46 decision to Northwestern on Tuesday (Recap) and suffered a 78-63 loss to Virginia Tech on Wednesday in Cancun, Mexico. (Recap) The RedHawks returned home to host Elon and were clipped in an electric finish, 70-68. (Recap) Junior guard Eric Washington was named to the All-Tournament Team. This Week: Miami hosts long-time rival Dayton at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3. The game has been declared a Glow-Out, and fans can purchase their glow-in-the-dark t-shirts at the Miami University Bookstore for just $9.95. The RedHawks then hit the road for a 7 p.m. game at IPFW on Saturday, Dec. 6.
Volleyball
Last Week: Miami (21-10 overall) won the first two sets of the 2014 Mid-American Conference Championship match on Monday, but Western Michigan rallied to take the final three sets as the RedHawks fell, 2-3 (25-21, 25-17, 13-25, 16-25, 13-15). (Recap) This Week: The 2014 season is complete.
Women’s Basketball
Last Week: Miami (1-3 overall) dropped its first two road contests of the season over the weekend. It was a tough shooting night for the RedHawks as they fell in their first road game of the year, 65-51, to Oakland on Friday evening. (Recap) Miami ran into a hot-shooting Michigan State team on Sunday and the 16th-ranked Spartans came away with an 85-39 win in East Lansing. (Recap) This Week: The RedHawks have one home and one road game this week. On Wednesday, Miami welcomes Valparaiso to Millett Hall. It is the second annual Lunch at Millett contest with a special noon tip. To purchase lunch and a ticket click here. On Saturday, the RedHawks travel to Evansville for a 5 p.m. (EST) tip.
