Davis Named Assistant Dir. of Game Operations

Stephanie Davis has been named the new Assistant Director of Game Operations, announced on Saturday, Oct. 18.
“We are thrilled to have someone of Stephanie's poise and experience join our staff,” said Keanah Smith, Associate Athletic Director for Game Operations.
Davis’ daily duties will include overseeing all operations for ice hockey, baseball, volleyball and tennis. She will also be responsible for game operation interns, event staff workers and managing the operations financial processes.
Davis comes to Miami after spending the past season as an assistant equipment manager at Rice University. In her time with the Owls, she was in charge of managing equipment for 13 of Rice’s Olympic sports, which included adidas corporate sponsorship. Davis was also active in fundraising for the women’s teams with Rice Women’s Athletics Advisory Board.
Before joining the Owls, Davis spent one season at Georgia Tech as a Byers Tennis Facility attendant and another year as an operations/facility coordinator for the Yellow Jackets She also served as a graduate assistant in the compliance office in 2012.
Davis graduated from Florida in 2008 with a degree of arts in anthropology and received her master’s degree in sports administration from Georgia State in 2012.
