Coaches Caravan Kicks Off May 14 and 17

Miami University Athletics and the Miami University Alumni Association begin the 2013 Coaches Caravan event schedule next week in Cincinnati and Dayton.
Headlining next week’s stop in Cincinnati will be Men’s Basketball Head Coach John Cooper, Football Head Coach Don Treadwell, Ice Hockey Head Coach Enrico Blasi, Synchronized Skating Head Coach Carla DeGirolamo , Head Baseball Coach Dan Simonds, Head Golf Coach Zac Zedrick, Head Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field Coach Kelly Phillips and Head Field Hockey Coach Inako Puzo. Coach Treadwell, Coach Phillips and Coach Zedrick also will be in Dayton along with Chip Rogers from field hockey.
Tuesday, May 14 kicks off the caravan at Moerlein Lager House in Cincinnati. On Friday, May 17, the caravan stops at TJ Chumps in Fairborn. Both events are slated for 6 p.m.
The 2013 Coaches Caravan will be making seven stops throughout the spring to give fans a chance to meet Miami’s coaches and get an inside look at their upcoming seasons.
Registration for the first six events is required, and the cost is $15 per person with food and beverages included. Register online at the links below or by contacting the Red & White Club at (513) 529-8097 or RWClub@MiamiOH.edu. The Oxford event is free and coincides with the Oxford Summer Music Festival Concert.
