Collegiate Team Competes Friday

OXFORD, Ohio--Competing in its last event before the U.S. National Championships, Miami University's collegiate synchronized skating team heads to the Midwestern Championships in Rochester, Minn., to compete on Friday, Feb. 4.
The RedHawk collegiate team last competed at the Mid-American Championships on Jan. 16, taking home first place with a score of 84.39.
Skating to its Brazilian Carnival themed program, the RedHawks will compete among a nine-team field at approximately 2:30 p.m. (CT) on Friday. Other collegiate teams competing at the Midwestern Championships are Adrian College, Illinois, Michigan State, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Western Michigan and Northern Michigan.
