Series/General Notes
- Following the loss, Miami now leads the all-time series 28-22-1. However, Toledo broke a 12-12 deadlock in games played in the Glass Bowl. The Rockets have won three of the last four games overall and two of the last three at home.

Team Notes
- Toledo scored on its opening possession, marking the third straight time - and fourth this season - that Miami's opponent did so. Minnesota and Kent State converted field goals, while Army and the Rockets tallied TDs.
- The 21 points Miami allowed in the first quarter were the most since Missouri also scored 21 on Sept. 25, 2010. The 49 points scored by Toledo were the most by a MAC school against Miami since Kent State earned a 54-21 victory win on Oct. 25, 2008.
- Miami has trailed at halftime in all seven games this season. Toledo held a 35-14 lead after 30 minutes.
- Miami attempted its first onside kick of the season in the fourth quarter. The RedHawks were successful as Andy Cruse caught the kick in mid-air at the 43 yardline. A second attempt later in the game was unsuccessful.
Individual Notes
- Quarterback Zac Dysert had 333 yards passing during the contest, moving into third place on Miami's career list. He passed current Miami assistant coach (6,524 from 1997-2000) during the second quarter. Dysert finished the game with 6,853 yards in his career.
- The 300-plus yard effort was the ninth in Dysert's career. He has accomplished the feat three times in 2011.
- Justin Semmes scored his third career touchdown on an eight-yard pass from Zac Dysert. His other two scores also came on a pass from Dysert - against Colorado State last year and vs. Army this year.
- Nick Harwell and Zac Dysert connected on a 71-yard completion late in the second quarter, the longest play from scrimmage for the RedHawks this season. The duo now has the nine longest plays of the year. Harwell finished the game with five catches for 101 yards, marking the fifth time in his six appearances that he has reached the century mark. With seven career 100-yard games, he equaled Armand Robinson and Andy Schillinger for this most in Miami history.
- Chris Givens moved into a tie for seventh place on Miami's career receptions list against Toledo. His five grabs against the Rockets give him 121 for his career, pushing him past Tremayne Banks (118 from 1993-96) and George Swarn (117 from 1983-86). He is now tied with Jason Branch and Jay Hall. Givens stands eighth on the yardage list with 1,716.
- Erik Finklea scored on a one-yard touchdown run late in the second half, his fourth rushing score of the year. He leads the team in scoring with 24 points.
- Quarterback Austin Boucher made his second appearance of the season late in the fourth quarter. He also appeared in the Cincinnati game on Oct. 1. He completed four of six passes for 61 yards.
- Redshirt freshman Willie Culpepper scored his first career touchdown on a 25-yard reception from Austin Boucher with 30 seconds left.
