Georgetown Intercollegiate Final Results
BEALLSVILLE, Md. - The Miami University men's golf team shot a final round 318 Tuesday to finish the tournament in 10th place at 63-over par. West Florida won the tournament in a playoff over Michigan State, finishing with a final total of 26-over par.
Juniors Ben Peacock and Brett Tomfohrde tied for the top finishing RedHawk. Peacock shot a 79 on Tuesday, while Tomfohrde shot an 80. Each finished at 15-over par, tied for 29th place.
Sophomore Austin Kelly had the best score for Miami on Tuesday, shooting a six-over par 77. He finished the event at 18-over par and tied for 35th place. Also tied for 35th place at 18-over par was sophomore Mark MacDonald. Freshman Scott Cahill rounded out the RedHawk finishers, taking 56th place at 26-over par.
Miami will complete the fall portion of its schedule when it competes in the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate Oct. 30-Nov. 1. The 54-hole tournament will feature one round of 18 holes each day.
