Enrico Blasi- Miami University Head Coach
On Brian Stewart:
"I thought he was great. Their team played hungry tonight, they played well and obviously deserved to win tonight."
On shorthanded goal:
"You get a five minute power play and you don't score and they score on you- they definitely had the momentum and took it to us from there."
On NCAA Tournament possibility:
"A lot of things have to happen. Whether we deserve to be in it or not the numbers will show it and we'll just have to wait and see."
Walt Kyle- Northern Michigan University Head Coach
General Game Thoughts:
"Obviously I'm really pleased. I think we got better every game of the series. I think they came at us hard and we were able to bend and not break; I thought we were resilient. I thought we counter punched them well and got some chances off counters. Mark Oliver had his best game of the series certainly tonight. That shorthanded goal was a big goal- to score early and then come back and get a shorthanded goal; that was huge."
On Junior Goalie Brian Stewart:
"I thought Stewart was outstanding. I didn't think he had to make critical saves until late. We kept them outside for the most part until late and I thought he was outstanding all weekend- certainly our star."
On being outshot in all five games:
"It's not about shots, it's about quality of shots. I thought in the second period last night that our guys kind of figured out some things that we could do. I think before that we had no time of possession on their end and they were coming at us and fatiguing our defensemen and I thought at some point in the second last night through nothing that we did our guys just kind of started to figure out how to maintain a little possession time."
