Collegiate Skating Team Defends U.S. National Title

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Miami University Collegiate Synchronized Skating team put on an impressive performance and dominated the collegiate division this afternoon, skating away with its third straight and ninth overall United States National Championship at the World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The RedHawks, who posted a season-high score of 102.61, knocked off second-place
Miami's Senior Team will look to repeat as U.S. National Champions tonight when they take the ice for the free skate competition beginning at 7:15 p.m. Mountain Time (9:15 p.m. ET). The RedHawks are currently in second place 1.84 points behind the Haydenettes after Thursday night's short program.
