ATHENS, Ohio - The Miami University women's soccer team fell 3-1, at Ohio University on Sunday afternoon, dropping to 3-5-3 on the year and 1-2-1 in the MAC.
Freshman forward Sara Lund scored her fifth goal of the year off an Allison Berkey assist for the RedHawks' only score of the game. The Bobcats pushed two goals across in the first half and followed Lund's score with an insurance goal in the 69th minute.
Krista Pace had six saves in goal for Miami, playing all 90 minutes.
Ohio outshot Miami 22-12 and had six corner kicks to two for the RedHawks.
Miami will next host Western Michigan on Friday (Oct. 12) at 4 p.m. and will host Northern Illinois on Sunday (Oct. 14) at 1 p.m.
