OXFORD, Ohio--In a continuing relationship with long-time corporate partner Kroger, Miami University Athletics and Kroger announced today a joint venture that allows RedHawk fans additional access points to purchase basketball tickets.
Ten Kroger locations will sell general admission tickets to home Miami men's and women's basketball games from Jan. 8 through Feb. 24. Kroger's Oxford, Middletown, Monroe, Liberty Township Marketplace, Hamilton Meadows, Hamilton, Fairfield, Franklin and West Chester stores give patrons the opportunity to purchase the general admission tickets at all checkout lanes. Customers can ask to purchase the tickets at the checkout aisles with the amount added to their grocery bill and tickets printed out on-site.
"We are proud of our long-standing partnership with Kroger and are very pleased with this opportunity to provide such a convenience to our fans," said Miami University Director of Athletics Brad Bates. "We thank Kroger for assisting us in reaching consumers through their participating area stores."
Both Miami's men's and women's basketball teams have seven home games each during this stretch. Men's general admission tickets are $10, while women's general admission tickets cost $5. Tickets are non-refundable, and each ticket purchased is valid for one general admission to any remaining 2006-07 home game.
