Miami to Hold National Letter of Intent Press Conference

OXFORD, Ohio - The head coaches for Miami University's football, women's soccer and field hockey teams will hold a joint press conference Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m. in the Walter L. Gross Center in Oxford to announce their signees for the Fall of 2007. The event is open to the public.
Head football coach Shane Montgomery will be announcing his third recruiting class since taking over the program, while women's soccer coach Bobby Kramig is in search of finding a replacement for departing Mid-American Conference Player of the Year Kathleen Vistica. Head field hockey coach Jill Reeve, who guided Miami to a second-place league finish and a spot in the MAC semifinals last year, is looking to find someone to take over for senior Danielle Perrecone - the MAC's fourth leading scorer in 2006.
Following the press conference, fans are invited to walk across the parking lot to Millett Hall for that evening's women's basketball game vs. Mid-American Conference foe Eastern Michigan. Tip-off is 7 p.m. Tickets for the game are $7 and can be purchased the night of the game, online at www.MURedHawks.com or by calling in advance at 1-866-MUHAWKS.
