Senior Kathleen Vistica

This week's Miami Athlete of the Week is Kathleen Vistica, a senior forward on the Miami women's soccer team. As the RedHawks' top offensive threat, Vistica led the team with seven goals and five assists in 2005, earning both first-team all-MAC and second team all-Ohio honors. Heading into her final season, Vistica ranks fifth on Miami's all-time goals scored list, needing only two goals to move into fourth place. In addition to her performance on the field, Vistica also excelled in the classroom, posting a 3.93 GPA as a junior and earning academic all-district accolades. This season, Vistica will lead the RedHawks as they seek their third straight appearance in the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
