Miami Finishes 12th at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate

DUBLIN, Ohio--Miami University's golf team finished in 12th place among the 15-team field at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. Northwestern captured the team title, while Northwestern's Kyle Moore won a playoff to claim individual medallist honors.
Seniors Matt Thomas and Ryan Swelin led the RedHawks tying for 37th and 40th place, respectively. Thomas finished at 16-over par 232, while Swelin finished one stroke behind Thomas at 17-over par 233. Freshman Ben Wood tied for 56th place, sophomore Connor Doherty tied for 60th place, and freshman Ben Bastel tied for 63rd place.
Miami plays in its final tournament before the Mid-American Conference Championship next weekend when it travels to State College, Pa., for the Rutherford Intercollegiate.
