MIAMI ATHLETIC TICKET OFFICE SPECIAL HOURS FOR CONFERENCE TOURNAMENTS

OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University Department of Athletics has announced that the athletic ticket office located in Millett Hall will open on March 11 and/or 12 to accomodate fans wishing to purchase tickets to watch either Miami's hockey team or men's basketball team in their respective conference tournaments.
The ticket office will be open on Saturday, March 11 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. if Miami's men's basketball team advances to and wins in the MAC Tournament semifinal on Friday, March 10, thus advancing to the MAC Tournament championship game on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
Should that not happen, the ticket office will still open on Saturday if the hockey team drops its game on Friday night versus Western Michigan in the second round of the CCHA playoffs thus necessitating a third game in the best-of-three series for Miami to advance.
If the hockey team wins on Friday but loses on Saturday, the ticket office will open on Sunday, March 12 from 2-4 p.m., to sell tickets to the series finale on Sunday night at 7:35 p.m. in Goggin Ice Arena.
In addition, tickets for the hockey game on Sunday will be sold during the first and second intermissions of the game on Saturday night in the lobby of Goggin Ice Arena.
The basketball team battles Ohio University on Thursday, March 9 at 9 p.m. in a MAC Tournament quarterfinal matchup with a berth in the semifinal game on Friday at 7 p.m. on the line. The hockey team hosts Western Michigan in a best-of-three series with the winner advancing to the CCHA Championship on March 17-18 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Mich.
