Miami Draws Wichita State for ESPN Bracket Buster Saturday

OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami University's men's basketball team learned its pairing and will be one of 11 televised games as part of ESPN's Bracket Buster Saturday on Feb. 19. The RedHawks will host Wichita State. ESPN will announce game times and TV packages for the 11 games on Monday, Feb. 7.
The RedHawks, who jumped to a Mid-American Conference-leading No. 30 in the latest RPI, hold the MAC East Division lead with a 12-5 overall mark and a 7-2 MAC record. Miami heads to Toledo on Thursday, Feb. 3 for an 8 p.m. game televised on Fox Sports Ohio with a four-game win streak in tow. On Saturday, the RedHawks return home to host Buffalo at 4 p.m. in the second game of a Miami men's and women's basketball doubleheader and put a 9-0 home record on the line against the Bulls.
Wichita State is 16-2 overall and leads the Missouri Valley Conference with a 9-1 record. The Shockers tout a No. 18 RPI.
Last season, Miami was one of the four Mid-American Conference schools to be televised on ESPN's Bracket Buster Saturday, defeating Southwest Missouri State, 75-66. SMS also is part of the Missouri Valley Conference.
