Miami's Athletic Department Announces Two Hirings

A native of Nashville, Tenn., Tenisci graduated from the University of Evansville in May 2000. While at Evansville, Tenisci was sports editor and sports columnist for the University Crescent, the school's weekly newspaper.
Tenisci also has gained experience while working as a production assistant at WEHT-TV Channel 25 in Henderson, Ky., as a freelance writer for the Evansville Courier and as a color commentator for WUEV, Evansville's campus radio station. Tenisci's will handle publicity for women's soccer, men's and women's cross country and track and field, men's and women's swimming and diving and women's tennis.
Wands, who graduated from Emory University in 1998 and completed his master's degree at Eastern Kentucky University in 2000, joins Miami's sports marketing staff following his experience in collegiate athletics at both institutions. At Eastern Kentucky, Wands served as an athletic marketing intern for one year, assisting with the corporate sponsorship program, gameday promotions and production of media guides, schedule posters, cards and brochures. At Miami, Wands will concentrate on gameday promotions for Miami's athletic teams, development of marketing plans for all of Miami athletics and corporate relations development.
"Josh and Brad are great additions to our department," said Maturi. "I feel they will serve their respective areas well."
