"I believe this is the best way we can service the changing needs of our department," commented Maturi. "Mike and Troy have done a tremendous job in their respective areas and are deserving of these promotions."
Wolf, who also is the director of athletic media relations, will manage the areas of marketing/promotions, broadcasting and media relations. He will remain the media relations contact for football and men's basketball.
Hartmann was elevated from associate director of marketing/corporate sales. He will now oversee all aspects of marketing and promotions with a concentration in corporate relations.
Freeman, who had split time between marketing/promotions and broadcasting as the director of marketing and broadcasting, will now concentrate his efforts on Miami's broadcast packages and the continued growth of the Miami Sports Network.
"Jim made the decision to spend more time with his family in Tennessee, which prompted the change in his duties," Maturi said. "I am pleased that he will retain his position as director of broadcasting and continue to be the voice of the RedHawks."
Wolf, Hartmann and Freeman all joined the Miami staff during the summer of 1998.
